All though summer is slowly coming to an end, linen, the fabric that has an enduring summer charm stands the test of time as trends come and go!
A linen skirt is a versatile and timeless piece that effortlessly combines comfort and style. In this blog post, we’ll explore the magic of linen skirts, and one of my favourite ways of styling it in hopes you will fall in love with this wardrobe essential all over again.
Why I love wearing linen in the warmer months! Linen is a natural material known for it’s for its breathability. These qualities make it the ideal when choosing a fabric to stay comfortable and fresh, even during the hottest of summer days. There are no limits to styling Linen skirts, they can be dressed up or down effortlessly. I love pairing mine with a simple white tank bodysuit and sandals for a casual daytime look. This has been my summer go to look! I also love the idea of dressing linen skirts up with a tailored blazer and heels for an elegant evening outfit.
I opted for a light brown linen skirt and it has suited me for summer and now transitioning into fall. I took a lot of inspiration and pulled colours from my headband I got at Anthropologie a few years back. They honestly have the prettiest headbands every season and I could buy them all! It has gold, white, periwinkle and a little bit of burgundy. I decided to pull from the periwinkle and added this lovely cashmere sweater. I really love how this warm earthy brown looks paired with periwinkle, it just pops! Accessories always play an important roll when putting and outfit together. So I went very neutral with warm golds and creams playing off of my headband colours and skirt.
Caring for Linen my deter some because of it’s natural wrinkling, but it’s part of its charm. I love how effortlessly and relaxed the lived-in look is as the day progresses, It’s perfectly imperfect! So are you ready to embrace the beauty of the linen skirt?
